Soloway Gosling guitar videro review

A video review of the Soloway Gosling. What a stunning guitar. Everything on it is perfect from tone, craftsmanship, woods, accessories, balance and comfort. A complete homerun of a guitar. I cannot wait to be able to commission Jim to build me one to my specs.

The top is unbelievable: a one-piece flamed and spalted maple. Wow. Never seen anything so unique. and I’ve seen a couple of guitars in my day! 🙂

Fender Telecaster Hot Rod 52 & Carmen Ghia amp.

Fender Telecaster Hot Rod 52 review

This guitar is US made, with a single Tele bridge pickup and a Seymour Duncan mini-humbucker in the neck position. The neck is medium chunky, the finish is butterscoth nitro – see through so you can enjoy the grain – and the guitar comes in a beautiful Fender Tweed case.

Gear used: Carmen Ghia by Dr Z for the amp, and an Electro Harmonix Holy Grail reverb pedal.

Trussart SteelPhonic played through a Dr Z Mini Z.

A quick review of my Trussart SteelPhonic played through a Dr Z Mini Z.

This guitar features Seymour Duncan mini-humbuckers, a metal body and a special,reso-like box under the bridge. Mark Ford plays a similar one… much better than I do!
